Malanje
The Falls Route
Five days from Luanda to Malanje through the interior: Cambambe, Pungo Andongo, Cangandala and the Kalandula falls.
You climb from the coast to the highlands and the country changes colour. We cross the Cambambe dam over the Kwanza, sleep on a farm on the banks of the Lucala, climb the Black Rocks of Pungo Andongo and reach the Kalandula falls, among the largest in Africa. We sleep with the falls in front of the balcony.
